Attachment Wounds

What are attachment wounds?

Attachment wounds can result when our needs for emotional connection in childhood are not met sufficiently. This can lead to problematic attachment styles, specifically anxious, avoidant, and disorganized attachment styles, which can make relationships difficult to navigate later in life. But attachment styles can change when we understand why we act the way we do in relationships, when we can articulate the feelings that drive our behaviors, and when we can give ourselves the emotional security that our caregivers could not. For more information or to take a quiz to determine your attachment style, go to: https://psychcentral.com/quizzes/attachment-style-quiz
